You will also use the app to unlock and lock the car doors and to start and end the rental. It’s that easy! For your maximum convenience, our delivery crew will park the car by your arrival terminal, depending on the flight number. It saves a lot of time and struggle as Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport is big and always busy.
Not arriving at the airport? No worries! With Liigu you can pick up your rental car in downtown, Paris-Austerlitz, Gare de Paris Bercy or other railway stations in the city. All our cars have an automatic transmission that makes driving on narrow streets easier.
Liigu is perfect for traveling with family. You can easily add child seats to your rental and have them installed before picking up the car. If you have pets, take them with you! Well-behaved furry friends are more than welcome on board. All Liigu cars are carefully cleaned and disinfected for your safety. If you need to change your plans, we offer free cancellation up to 24h before your rental starts. Bon voyage!
The best way to explore romantic Paris? By car!
Car rental is a great way to explore the surroundings of Paris, see the Loire valley castles, or travel around Picardy and Normandy regions. You’ll save plenty of sightseeing time if you start your rental at the airport.
If you plan to discover Île-de-France, it's a good idea to rent an SUV or a more spacious car. For driving in Paris city, we rather recommend a smaller car as streets are crowded and parking in the city center can be challenging.
The speed limit in urban areas across France is typically 31 mph (50 km/h) and sometimes 18 mph (30 km/h) in downtown areas. Two to three-lane roads have a speed limit of 80 km/h (49 mph), and four-lane roads of 68 mph (110 km/h). On motorways, the speed limit is 80 mph (130 km/h). All these limits are lower in case of rain or snowfall. It is also good to know the different colors of the French road signs. Green ones point to a non-highway or a "free road" while blue signs indicate a highway route and are often marked "péage" which means you’ll need to pay a road toll.
